Ahmet Çörtoğlu
Mr. Ahmet ÇÖRTOĞLU, Attorney at Law, was born in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir in 1962. He graduated from TED Ankara College in 1980, and from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 1988, and completed his internship at Ankara Bar Association.
Çörtoğlu is a self-employed lawyer registered at Ankara Bar Association since 1988; he also performed as General Secretary at Ankara Bar Association between 1998-2000 and the member of Turkish Bar Association Delegation between 2004-2006. Çörtoğlu performed as the Administrative Board member at Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation of Turkey’s Lawyers from 2000 to 2014.
Çörtoğlu also performed as the Turkish Executive Committee Member of the European Union Judicial Modernisation and Penal Reforms; he was elected as a member of TED Ankara College Foundation Board of Trustees on June 29th 2006 and retired from the office as the Chairman of TED Ankara College Foundation Board of Trustees in April 2018.
He is the founding member of TED Higher Education Foundation and continues as the founding member of Board of Trustees at TED University.
He is married and father of one.
